"Thank you for the fun entertainment--
About Andy
everyone enjoyed themselves!" Laurie Melson Washington School PTG, Harvard, IL Page 3 In October of 1988 Andy was accepted into the famed Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College where he continued to hone his craft. While no longer a performing clown thanks to his wife's HATRED of clowns, Andy spent the next few years working for circuses, city festivals, trade shows, and special promotional events for Ringling Bros. Noteworthy appearances include the Washington Press Corp's Salute to the 101st Congress in Washington, DC, which featured an audience that included John Glenn, C. Everett Coop, Ted Kennedy and even President George Bush...the original NOT the sequel. While Andy has many fine memories from that performance, Ted Kennedy has no recollection at all of that evening. In the years to follow Andy has performed on WGN TV's popular program, 'The Bozo Show' and as a supporting act for Phil Collins and Cheap Trick. You may have seen Andy performing at the World Music Theatre during 2001's, Area 1 tour, featuring Moby, Incubus, & Outkast. Wherever the show, whatever the venue, Andy Martello continues to provide top quality entertainment at an affordable price. Even though the price has gone up since 1985, it's still quite reasonable. |
