For a brief synopsis of Andy's acts and skills see Andy At A Glance.

The year was 1970. The Beatles had broken up, disco was lurking in the distance, and 'Laugh-In' just wasn't funny anymore. 'The Simpsons' were still 19 years away. Something had to be done!

On a warm spring day in May, Andy Martello was born. He would do nothing significant for another 10 years! The world survived by watching Archie Bunker and Angie Dickenson otherwise this story would really stink!

Always the performer in the family, Andy was cast in a summer production of 'Bye Bye, Byrdie' at the age of 10 (By his Father!) He had the role of Randolph MacAfee, a precocious 10 year old with a sarcastic wit (what a stretch!). He was bitten by the 'bug'. The doctors said it was a tick. A case of Lyme disease and several antibiotics later Andy decided to become an entertainer.

In love with the sounds of applause and laughter, Andy learned how to perform simple magic tricks, hoping to one day take the stage and become a famous magician. Realizing that juggling props such as apples and oranges were less expensive and certainly more edible, a MUST for a future "starving artist", Andy abandoned magic and became a juggler.
